Mark Cranford Design Arts

Mark founded Mark Cranford Design Arts in 1997 after learning mural arts and faux finish design from Master Decorative Artist Holly Scott of Fauxliage. Holly helped developed some of the signature looks for faux finishing and interior design art for the high end SWFL interior design market. Mark has worked with some of the finest interior design houses and estate home owners in our wonderful SW Florida region. Mark has been participating with the fine arts  since graduating the Atlanta College of Art (now SCAD Atlanta) in 1978 and brings a new level of faux finish design appreciation and mural visions to share through Mark Cranford Design Arts. Mark would especially like to bring an appreciation of regional landscapes into his tromp l’oeil murals. Soft naturalistic designer marble and stunning wood grain columns are also some of Mark’s special interests. Mark loves the complexity of marble and realizes it’s design works best in harmony with the design environment or design intent. Mark has a life long history in the visual arts. A BFA from a museum college of visual art and long professional career in fine arts painting enable Mark Cranford Design Arts to appreciate any level of visual sophistication demanded by clients or interior designers. Mark’s diverse artistic past has been enabled by many teachers, influences and inspirations. Learning from interior designers, clients and co workers are a must for success he feels.
